Audition for The Wizard of Oz!

Accent’s pride is in its musical productions! With nearly a dozen fully-produced musicals under our belt, we’ve built a strong team of teachers, directors and administrators to aid in presenting quality productions.

We’re gearing up to perform Wizard of Oz in 2014! We’re looking for anyone who wants to be part of a fun musical for a large community audience. You do not need to be a current student at Accent Music to audition or perform in the show. All are welcome!

We’ve Moved!

Good news: we’ve moved!

Many of you have already had the chance to visit our new location at 240 Curry Hollow Road, but for those who have been away for the summer, we want to offer you a peak at the new place. Though our former location will always be dear to us, we’re happy for the opportunity to better serve our students and customers with ample parking, two floors of studio space, a new waiting area, a spacious front office, and even room to grow! We even have a little storage space to help us stay better stocked on the items needed to maintain your instruments, books to help you practice, and even instruments for when you’re ready to upgrade.

Here’s a look at the new place:

Large windows with natural light and more space for studios means a more relaxed training atmosphere.

We even have a spacious new waiting area for those times you’d like to arrive early or hang around after your lesson.

We’ll be sure to post more to Facebook and Twitter as we get settled. Be sure to follow us (you can find the buttons at the very top right side of this page)!

Welcome to Our New Site

We’re making lots of great changes here at Accent Music. Along with our big move, we’re rolling out new class options with our 6-class flex card, new class divisions by grade level instead of age, and of course: this brand new website!

We know this is a lot of change, but change is good, right? And we’re happy to help you with any questions you have about our new developments. It’s our goal to make sure all the information you need is available here at accentmusicpgh.com, and we want to stay better connected with our updated Facebook page and Twitter account. But let’s start simply, and take a moment to show you around.

You’ll notice in the top navigation bar all the information we think you’ll need to access most often, including course schedules and descriptions, an updated list of our teachers and staff, and a breakdown of prices and discounts. Just below that navigation bar on the right hand side you’ll see a search bar, so if you can’t find what you’re looking for or you want to search for a topic you can just type it in and be on your way. Of course, just below that search bar you’ll see buttons that will easily direct you to our Facebook and Twitter pages for your convenience.

A little farther down on the right hand side of the page you’ll see a map with our new location, our hours, and a live Twitter feed with all the latest information from us. On the opposite, left hand side of the page you’ll see the top navigation links repeated and just below that a list of our most recent posts.

In addition to being your source for frequently needed information, we’ll be updating with posts like spotlights on our teachers and alumni, announcements about open houses and recitals, and of course, all the details about upcoming shows!

We’re growing and we hope you’ll grow with us. We welcome you to leave a comment to let us know what you think of the new website and what you’d like to see to help us better serve you.
